The 11th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Apayao held its 10th Regular Session on March 17, 2026 at the Session Hall of the Paul A. Delwasen Legislative Building in Luna.
Presided over by Vice Governor Kyle Mariah Chelsea S. Bulut-Cunan, the body approved on third and final reading several measures covering employee welfare and sector support.
Among those approved were an ordinance mandating SSS coverage for all provincial employees, a measure setting standard hazard pay for personnel exposed to hazardous conditions, and the adoption of hazard pay benefits for Provincial and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office personnel in line with the Magna Carta for Public Social Workers.
The council also approved the accreditation of the PIAS Farmers Association.
