The Apayao Socio-Economic Efforts Necessary for Growth (ASENG) convened its 1st Quarter Meeting to present the 2025 accomplishment reports of provincial programs focused on employment, livelihood, and social welfare.
Program updates were presented for the Livelihood and Economic Development Program, Sustainable Livelihood Program, Apayao Barangay Social Welfare Workers (ABSWW), Apayao Community Workers (ACW), Government Internship Program (GIP), Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES), Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) support initiatives, Green Guards, Army Recruitment, Apayao Student Assistance Program (ASAP), and Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS).
The reports outlined program outputs related to employment generation, skills training, community-based services, environmental protection, and assistance to vulnerable sectors.
The meeting was attended by Provincial Administrator Arnold B. Castillo and program focal persons, and was held at the Finance Conference Hall. Discussions focused on reviewing implementation progress, addressing operational concerns, and aligning efforts among implementing offices.
The quarterly review is part of the provincial government’s regular monitoring of ASENG programs to ensure continued delivery of employment, livelihood, and social assistance services to Apayao residents.
