The Provincial Government of Apayao (PGA), through the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) led by Loyd Rio Karl Sion, conducted an orientation for Job Contract Workers (JCWs) on January 22, at the Aliwa Gymnasium in Luna, Apayao.
The orientation familiarized workers with provincial officials, office mandates, and basic protocols in government service, with emphasis on professionalism and proper conduct in dealing with the public. Executive Order No. 53, which outlines the Office Policies, Rules, and Regulations of the PGA, was also discussed.
Provincial Administrator Arnold Castillo also delivered a message to the JCWs, underscoring the importance of discipline, accountability, and adherence to provincial policies in the performance of their duties.

A representative from the Provincial Accounting Office (PAccO) explained the procedures for processing Travel Expense Vouchers (TEVs), while the Provincial Treasury Office (PTO) presented the flow of transactions and services under its office.

Participants came from various provincial offices, including PLO, PIO, HRMO, PGO, PTO, PACCO, PBMO, BAC–INFRA, BAC–GMS, GSO, PASSO, PSWDO, PVET, PTSO, PDRRMO, and PEO, as well as District Hospitals (APH and FDH), ABSWWs, GAP personnel, and Provincial Green Guards.
The activity is part of the ongoing efforts to align contract workers with provincial policies and improve coordination in offices in support of efficient public service delivery.
