Preparations for the province-wide rice distribution have been finalized following the third and last coordination meeting held April 23 at the Capitol Conference Hall.
The meeting covered procurement, beneficiary validation, delivery schedules, and field arrangements ahead of implementation.

Initial validation listed 11,652 family profiles. For the first round, the Provincial Government targets 12,666 beneficiaries, with a total of 63,333 beneficiaries in five rounds. Municipal governments are set to cover 14,852 beneficiaries in the first round, with an overall target of 45,000.

Barangays will be clustered to manage deliveries and distribution, with coordination set between provincial offices, municipal governments, and suppliers. Local suppliers tapped for the program include Casiggaman Agri Coop, RIMALIPAD, Apayao Seed Producers MPC, FloraCo, and Guimitan FMC.

Provincial Administrator Arnold Castillo said the meeting settled agreements on procurement, validation, and delivery timelines, and called on local government units to confirm support as rollout begins.
The first wave of deliveries and distribution is scheduled to start on April 27.
