Apayao opened the 36th Civil Registration Month this February through activities led by the Philippine Statistics Authority - Apayao (PSA-Apayao), with the participation of national and local government offices.
The observance began with a motorcade and inter-agency involvement, highlighting the role of civil registration in recording births, deaths, marriages, and other vital events.
Civil Registration Month underscores the importance of complete and accurate civil registry records in government planning, service delivery, and policy development. This year’s observance carries the theme, “Navigating the Future Together: Advancing CRVS in Shaping the Global and Regional Data Ecosystem.”
The PSA continues to urge the public to register vital events on time to ensure proper documentation and access to basic services.
