PLGU Apayao conducts FBSE training for frontline government workers

The Provincial Government of Apayao (PGA), through the Provincial Tourism Services Office (PTSO), in partnership with the Department of Tourism – Cordillera Administrative Region (DOT–CAR), conducted a Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Training on January 30, 2026, at the LMP Hall in San Gregorio, Luna.

The training focused on improving frontline service delivery in government offices by reinforcing Filipino values relevant to public service. FBSE is a Department of Tourism program designed to promote consistent service standards in government agencies.

Participants from various offices of the PGA attended the session, which covered topics on Filipino values in service, handling clients and guests, service recovery, and responsible use of social media in public service.

Provincial Tourism Officer Rebecca T. Mamba thanked the participants for their active participation and encouraged them to apply the principles discussed in their daily work, noting the role of frontline personnel in shaping public experience with government services.

The activity is part of the ongoing efforts by the provincial government to strengthen service quality and professionalism in offices that directly interact with the public.
