The Municipality of Luna secured the top spot in the Booth Competition held during the 31st Apayao Founding Anniversary and Agro-Industrial Trade and Tourism Fair, posting the highest overall score among seven municipalities.
Luna’s exhibit stood out for its presentation of local products, agricultural produce, processed goods, and tourism features. Entries were judged based on two major components: Products (50 percent) and Booth Dressing and Tourism Promotion (50 percent), with criteria covering diversity and volume of products, quality, originality, sustainability, landscaping, and marketing approach.
A total of P345,000 was allotted for prizes.

Luna received the P100,000 first prize. Flora placed second and earned P75,000, while Pudtol finished third with P50,000. Calanasan, Conner, Kabugao, and Sta. Marcela each received P30,000 as consolation prizes.
Provincial Agriculturist Prudencio Bosing said the competition provides a venue for municipalities to showcase the work of farmers and local producers, and to promote value-adding and market competitiveness of Apayao products.

The Booth Competition is a regular feature of the province’s founding anniversary activities, drawing participation from all municipalities and serving as a platform to highlight local industries and tourism initiatives.
